A Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP vehicle was involved in a collision with a motorcycle on Highway 6 on Saturday morning.
The crash happened near Lavington at around 8 a.m., and closed the highway for several hours.

Two people riding the motorcycle, a 46-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both from Kelowna, were taken to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police officer was uninjured.
The Independent Investigations Office of B.C. was called in, and an investigation is ongoing.
