No charges will be laid after a semi became hung-up on a 22nd Street West barrier in Saskatoon.

At around 5:45 a.m. CT on Wednesday, the eastbound semi struck a barrier near Confederation Drive.

Police said the semi then travelled several metres before becoming hung-up on the concrete barrier.

Police said a contributing factor in the crash was reduced visibility due to a thunderstorm.

Traffic in the area was restricted for several hours while crews worked to remove the semi.
