Longueuil police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a jogger in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.
The suspect is believed to be a man between the ages of 45-52, standing approximately 5’11” and weighing between 170-180 lbs, with brown and grey hair.
Police received a 911 call at 12:30 p.m. Friday about an injured woman on Mont-Saint-Bruno.

According to Longueuil police, the victim, a woman in her 50s, had been jogging in the nature park when she was violently assaulted.
Police said the woman managed to fight off her attacker before seeking help.

She was taken to hospital to be treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was wearing a blue t-shirt, dark blue pants and a black bag around his waist at the time of the attack.
