Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s just Superman and his friends cleaning the windows of the IWK Health Centre in Halifax.
Superman and his grime-fighting friends Batman and Spider-Man were spotted suspended from the Halifax hospital Wednesday.
The trio was a real hit for children inside the hospital who were peeking out at them through the windows as they worked, according to Batman (A.K.A. Mitchell James Logan from Sky Reach Properties).
“We saw a kid in there, he had a broken arm and he had his hand pressed against the glass, it was really beautiful,” Logan said.

In real life, this Batman is a father who has spent time in the IWK with his own children — his son was born prematurely and spent several weeks in the hospital when he was born.
That experience led to him and his friend coming up with the idea of thanking the “real” superheroes working in the hospital — the medical teams.
