Two people have died and a third person is in critical condition after a car and a transport truck crashed in Mississauga Thursday evening.
Peel Regional Police said emergency crews were called to Dixie Road and Aerowood Drive, just south of Highway 401, around 7:30 p.m.

Crews had to cut the vehicle’s occupants out of the car.
A woman died at the scene and a man was rushed to hospital where he later died.
The third man was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
