Scott Eansor scored the winner while shorthanded as the Seattle Thunderbirds topped the Saskatoon Blades 4-3 in Western Hockey League (WHL) action on Tuesday evening.
The Thunderbirds (5-6-1) opened the game with three-straight power-play goals from Jarret Tyszka, Alexander True and Donovan Neuls. Rylan Toth stopped 21 shots.
Michael Farren, Josh Paterson and Mason McCarty provided the offence for Saskatoon (7-8-1). Brock Hamm took the loss by turning aside 13-of-14 shots in 35:51 of relief.

Logan Flodell started but was pulled after kicking out 16 shots in 22:05.
The Blades are back in action on Friday when they travel to Regina to take on the Pats.
In other WHL action involving Saskatchewan teams, Jayden Halbgewachs scored twice, including the winner, and Zach Sawchenko made 41 saves as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Prince Albert Raiders 3-1.
Tanner Jeannot added an empty netter late in the third period for the Warriors (9-3-2).

Luke Coleman found the back of the net in the second period for Prince Albert (4-10-1). Nicholas Sanders stopped 26 shots in net.
Moose Jaw was scoreless on five power plays while the Raiders went 0 for 4.
