Manitoba Moose release Jiri Fronk

WINNIPEG — Just four days after bringing back Jiri Fronk, the Manitoba Moose have now released the forward.

Fronk, 22, was released from his AHL contract after appearing in just one game with the Moose. He failed to record a point while registering two shots on goal.

The Czech Republic native started the season in the ECHL with the Tulsa Oilers. He racked up four goals in four games before getting called up.

Last season Fronk had six goals and two assists in 33 games for Manitoba.

The Moose will embark on five game western road swing starting on Friday against the San Diego Gulls.
