An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital following a stabbing Wednesday afternoon in Dartmouth.
Halifax police say a physical altercation broke out shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Alderney Landing.

The 18-year-old man was stabbed in the hand and suffered a broken finger in the incident. He was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say a suspect was arrested a short distance away from the scene and remains in custody. So far no charges have been laid.
