Cars were lined up at Old Time Tire Sales in Saint John on Friday as drivers rushed to take advantage of the Black Friday sale on gas.
Going for just 50 cents per litre, drivers were eager to fill their tanks.

“About three months ago we started the business, got great support from the city of Saint John,” general manager John Dizeau said.
“Black Friday … this is why we’re doing this.”
The gas sale meant fuel was being sold for less than half the regular rate of 101.9 cents per litre.

The gasoline was only available at the discount price to lucky customers who filled up between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.

There’s no word on just how much extra fuel went into gas tanks because of the sale.
