Hamilton-area doctor charged after 2 patients allegedly sexually assaulted: police

Hamilton police have charged a Dundas, Ont., doctor after officers said two female patients were sexually assaulted.

Police said the first victim told investigators in August that she was sexually assaulted by her doctor in June. After officers launched an investigation, a second victim came forward and reported a sexual assault that happened in July.

Dr. Pierre Picard, 48, of Dundas, Ont., was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of sexual assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
