One man is dead and another has escaped with no injuries, following a Friday evening collision in the RM of St. Andrews, Manitoba.
On Friday around 5:30 p.m. Selkirk RCMP and Emergency services were called to the corner of Provincial Road 27 and Highway 8.
Once the investigation took place, officers said it found that a north-bound half ton truck was travelling on Highway 8, and it struck a semi truck turning south-bound at the intersection of Provincial Road 27 and Highway 8.

The 61-year-old RM of St. Andrews resident was the driver of the half ton and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ontario driver of the semi-truck escaped with no injuries.
As the investigation continues, officers said there is no indication that alcohol was a faction and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
