PHOTOS: Dogs of Metro Vancouver frolicked in Friday’s snow storm

There was a common trend on social media in Vancouver Friday: pictures of dogs in snow.

It’s clear the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island has gone snow-crazy. Friday’s storm is being referred to as #snowmageddon2016 on Twitter, even though only about five to 10 centimetres fell across Metro Vancouver.

Unprepared and inexperienced drivers also faced the perils of snow during Friday afternoon’s commute, spinning out all across Metro Vancouver.

But the four-legged residents of the region had no problems enjoying the rare snowfall. In fact, they came out as the real stars of “snowcouver.”
