Winter is not quite over yet in Metro Vancouver.

Snow was falling again in a number of areas overnight and during the early hours of Friday.

It is sticking in some places, such as New Westminster, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.

Higher elevations will see more snow than areas near sea level but accumulations will still be minimal.

It’s already been a long winter with several rounds of snow storms and many Metro Vancouver residents say they’ve had enough.

And the region is nearing Edmonton snow totals for the season.

Edmonton has seen 67 centimetres of snow fall since October. Vancouver has had 63 centimetres.

But Abbotsford is the winner right now with about 108 centimetres in total.
