An Okanagan senior will do his time behind bars rather than in the community.
A Vernon judge has revoked the nine month Conditional Sentence Order for Gary Roberts and ordered him to serve the remainder on his sentence in jail.
That’s because Roberts breached two terms of his CSO; not meeting with his court ordered supervisor and not following the terms of his house arrest.

Roberts was convicted of two animal cruelty offenses in December for neglecting some of his horses which were seized by the SPCA two years earlier.

He was banned from owning animals for 20 years.
In court Wednesday, the 72-year-old broke into sobs saying he was at the end of the road.
“I can’t stand this anymore,” cried Roberts.
