RCMP are investigating what led to a fatal accident Wednesday morning in Halifax.
Police are reporting that a 42-year-old man from Hammonds Plains died when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Rocky Lake Drive.
Cpl. Jennifer Clarke, a spokesperson for the RCMP, confirmed it happened around 10 a.m.

According to police, the motorcycle and truck were travelling in opposite directions when the vehicles collided. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Rocky Lake Drive is currently closed to traffic.

Clarke says it will likely be closed until this afternoon while analysts work to determine the cause of the crash.
