Winnipeg police say the death in the city’s North End Sunday is a homicide.
Police were called to the 600 block of Pritchard Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday.

Officers noticed a man down in the front yard of a home. Police said 27-year-old William George Sumner was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A section of Pritchard Avenue was blocked off at McKenzie Street Monday morning as officers continued to investigate.
