Update: RCMP said the incident happened at Kelowna Ready Mix on Dominion Road and that the victim is a 62 year old man who suffered serious burns to most of his body as a result of the explosion. RCMP said the incident happened during the transference of gasoline from one fuel transport vehicle to another.

One person has been rushed to hospital following an explosion involving gasoline.
The incident happened at around 9 a.m. Wednesday at KRM Gravel Pit on Dominion Road.
Witnesses tell Global Okanagan that a man was fueling a truck when the explosion happened.
They say the victim suffered severe burns.
RCMP, West Kelowna Fire Rescue and WorkSafe BC are investigating.
