Police have seized a truck which was near the incident. It is believed to be the vehicle involved in the hit and run.

The truck belonged to the company Ryko. Police said the driver was not the owner of the truck, or responsible for it and that they believe the vehicle was stolen at the time of the hit and run.

The victim’s next of kin have now been notified, but police will not be releasing his identity at this time.
