LOTTO 649 Jackpot set to be biggest in Canadian history

The next Lotto 649 draw is expected to set a new record as the largest single jackpot in Canadian history, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.

Based on current sales, Saturday’s Lotto 649 jackpot will be an estimated $55 Million.

The previous lottery Jackpot record in Canada was $54.3 Million, which was won on October 26th, 2005 by a group of 17 people in Central Alberta.

There hasn’t been a Lotto 649 winner for nine consecutive draws, so the top prizes have continued rolling over since Wednesday, March 13th.
