BC Coroner rules out alcohol or drugs as cause in party bus death

16-year-old Ernest Azoadam did not die on a party bus in Surrey from the effects of drugs or alcohol, the BC Coroners Service has ruled.

Fraser Regional Coroner Vincent Stancato said the post-mortem toxicology examination did not identify any alcohol, drugs, or medication that would explain Azoadam’s death on February 15, 2013.

According to reports, Azoadam was on a party bus with friends, dancing and having fun when he suddenly collapsed. The vehicle, owned by Favori Limosine, pulled over at a gas station to call for help but was unable to be revived.

The group had only been picked up in North Delta a short time before.

After his death friends took to social media to express their shock and sadness at what happened, and posted pictures and messages about a young guy who was positive and liked to have a good time.
