Calgary – Police have laid charges against two men after what they’re calling the largest seizure of methamphetamine in the city.
The men were arrested in a northeast parking lot on September 11, after a two month-long investigation.
Officers then searched two vehicles, where they found thousands of dollars in meth, cocaine and crack cocaine.

They also discovered several weapons in the cars, such as a loaded .22 calibre handgun, an axe, baton, hammer, pry bar and two bats.
Police seized 10.56 kg of meth with an estimated street value of $1,056,000 – which is believed to be their largest seizure of the drug to date.
In total, approximately $1.18 million in drugs were seized from the two vehicles.
Police have charged 38-year-old Jason Quinn Antoino with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime.
They have also charged 59-year-old Jose Rodolfo Cruz Rivera with one count of trafficking a controlled substance.
