The search for 64-year-old Shin Noh has now entered its seventh day.
The Coquitlam man went for a walk last Wednesday and has not been seen since, although there have been a number of reported sightings.
A woman came forward to Coquitlam Search and Rescue Monday night, saying she had seen a man resembling missing man Shin Noh’s description.
On the Facebook page set up to help find him, there was also a sighting of him on Monday night near Riverside High School in Port Coquitlam.
Noh suffers from Alzheimer’s, and speaks mostly Korean but can speak English.
“Wandering is a fairly common behaviour associated with the disease,” said Larry Okotinsky, interim CEO of the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia.
“It can occur at any stage during the disease.”

The Society provides family members with a ‘Wandering Package‘, which contains information on wandering on how to manage it. They are also part of the MedicAlert Safely Home program, where members receive engraved identification.
Okotinsky said there are currently about 70,000 people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in B.C.
The search for Shin Noh continues, and the family is not giving up hope he will be found safe.
Headquarters for the search parties is located at 2624 St. Johns Street in Port Moody.
Noh was last seen wearing a green and blue plaid shirt, dark green pants, and a black New York Rangers baseball cap.
He is described as:
• An Asian male,
• 5’6″ tall,
• Average build,
• Clean shaven,
• Black hair which is greying on the sides.
