Manitoba Conservative MP Steven Fletcher spoke out this week in support of assisted suicide.
In an interview with The West Block host Tom Clark, he says he knew he had a lot of life left to live when he lost the use of his arms and legs after hitting a moose at 23 years old.

Had he been older when that accident happened, however, he may have wanted a doctor to help end his life.
“What would my answer be if I was 43 or 63 or 93?” the MP asked. “I know what it would be if I was 93 — it would be please help me end my time. So it is very much a very personal decision.”
