The fight over bike lanes is far from over in Kitsilano despite the fact construction is already underway.
Some area residents are crying foul because a section of the separated path is planned to cut directly though a large green space.

Some argue they weren’t even aware of the plans until the park was sprayed with white lines marking the route.
The park board says the path is part of a bigger plan to connect other bike lanes in the city and the route is meant to increase safety
