LONDON, Ont. – A man is facing murder charges in connection with the death of an inmate at a maximum security prison in London, Ont., and two others are charged as accessories.
Police say Adam Kargus, 29, of Sarnia, was pronounced dead Friday after an assault the previous day at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre.

An autopsy on the weekend found the cause of death to be blunt force trauma sustained during the assault and the coroner has termed the death a homicide.
Anthony Maurice George, 28, is charged with one count of second-degree murder.
Bradley Scott Mielke, 51, and David Charles Cake, 34, are each charged with one count of being an accessory after the fact to the offence of murder.
Police say they are continuing with their investigation, assisted by officials at the prison.
