A woman missing for over a month has been found dead, Tyendinaga police say.
Michelle Kunkel, 38, had been the subject of a land and water search since she was reported missing Jan. 9.
In a media release Monday investigators said Kunkel’s body was found under the ice in a waterway near the intersection of Highway 2 and York Road in Shannonville, in the area where she had last been seen, Saturday.
