REGINA – A Saskatchewan judge has fined two men 21-thousand dollars for firing their guns from a helicopter.
Court heard the men were up in the chopper, shooting at coyotes on the ground, southeast of Maidstone near Lloydminster in January 2012.

Erick and Jan Alsager have also had their hunting licences suspended.
Officials say shooting from a helicopter is not only against wildlife regulations, but dangerous to other people who may be on the ground.
