HAGUE, Sask. – A family of four has lost their home after an early morning house fire in the hamlet of Neuanlage on Friday morning.
RCMP received a 911 call just after 6 a.m. when emergency crews arrived on scene.
Everyone was out of the house but the mother and her young child were suffering from burns.

The family drove the 40 kilometres to Saskatoon and stopped at a 7-11 on Assiniboine Drive.
Saskatoon Fire and Protective Services and MD Ambulance responded and transported the mother with minor burns and the child with serious burns to Royal University Hospital.

The father and another child were not injured.
The Hague fire department has not yet determined the cause; however, Troy Davies with MD Ambulance says when paramedics were treating the family they said their Christmas tree started the blaze.
