REGINA – The former Regina teacher accused of sexually assaulting a teenager will learn his fate in a Regina courtroom today.

36-year-old Corey Matthews is accused of assaulting a male student. The alleged victim was 15 and 16 at the time.

Matthews pleaded not guilty to sexual assault and sexual exploitation, in connection to the incidents which supposedly started in 2005.

A judge will deliver her verdict in the case this morning.
