CALGARY – A national campaign is underway urging people to purchase toques to help support Canada’s homeless.
This year marks the 17th annual Toque Campaign from Raising the Roof.
Money raised from the purchase of a toque goes toward supporting the estimated 200,000 Canadians who are homeless.

Local partners participating in the campaign include the Calgary John Howard Society and Servants Anonymous of Calgary.
Volunteers will be selling the charity hats at a free pancake breakfast at VENU1008 in Inglewood from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
There will also be a flash mob on Stephen Avenue in front of Banker’s Hall at noon.
Toques can be purchased online, or at the following locations from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2014:

Livingston Place
