WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers acquired quarterback Brian Brohm from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Monday for a conditional pick in the 2015 CFL draft.
The club also released quarterback Justin Goltz.
Brohm appeared in one exhibition game last year for Hamilton before spending the entire season on the injured list.

The 28-year-old has spent time in both the NFL and UFL. Brohm was originally drafted 54th overall by the Green Bay Packers in 2008. He served as the team’s third-string quarterback for a season before taking his game to Buffalo, where he started two games for the Bills over two seasons.

Brohm played college football at Louisville and finished as the school’s second-leading passer with 10,775 yards.
Goltz spent four seasons with the Bombers, completing 88 of 160 passes for 961 yards, three touchdowns and seven interceptions.
