A 17-year-old woman was walking with her infant in a stroller, when an eastbound vehicle struck her in a marked crosswalk. According to a witness, the impact sent the stroller flying. Both the mother and baby were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have determined that the mother was crossing against the light and the 18-year-old driver had the right of way. Police said they are considering charging the 17-year-old woman for crossing the intersection in an unsafe manner.
