‘Devious Maids’ returns for another season of scandal

TORONTO – The sophomore season of Devious Maids sweeps back onto TV screens on April 20.

The series about five domestic workers pursuing their dreams while serving the rich and famous in Beverly Hills stars Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramírez, Roselyn Sánchez, Edy Ganem and Judy Reyes.

“You are on the outside looking in but it’s through our eyes as the maids,” Ortiz told Global News last summer.

“It’s this really wonderful juxtaposition. You’re seeing these beautiful houses and glamourous lives but it’s our point of view so you’re also seeing the other side of it and how we all come together and co-exist.”

Season one ended with the revelation of Flora’s killer, Rosie’s arrest by immigration officials, the end of Zoila and Valentina’s relationship and Carmen’s phoney engagement.

Devious Maids also stars Susan Lucci and father-to-be Grant Show.

Joining the cast this season are Dominic Adams, Joanna Adler and Colin Woodell.

Devious Maids returns to Lifetime at 10 p.m. ET on April 20.
