Woman shot in Prince Albert recovering in hospital

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A woman is recovering in hospital after she was shot early Thursday morning in Prince Albert, Sask.

Police were called to the 400-block of 28th Street East where they found a 21-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

She was taken to Victoria Hospital with serious injuries and is listed in serious but stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The criminal investigation division and forensic identification units continue to investigate.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.

Prince Albert police say there is no risk to the public.
