FOUND: Missing Vancouver man with autism not seen since Tuesday morning

UPDATE: Police say Faraj was found in Burnaby and reunited with his family.

A 26-year-old man with autism is still missing and Vancouver Police are asking the public’s help to find him.

Yacoub Faraj left his home in east Vancouver Tuesday morning, at about 7 a.m. and he has not made contact with anyone since then.

Police say Faraz does have a history of going on long walks when he is upset and has been found as far away as the Pacific border crossing.

He is described as 5’8″ tall, 170 lbs., with short, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue hat, green jacket, blue jeans and white Adidas running shoes.

If anyone sees Yacoub Faraz, they are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
