WATCH: Toronto councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam wants any couple to take part and set a new world record
TORONTO – The City of Toronto will host a mass gay wedding this summer to coincide with World Pride festivities.
The event titled Celebration of Love will take place Thursday June 26 at Casa Loma.
Up to 200 LGBTQ couples are expected to take part in the wedding which will be offered free of charge, however guests will need to pay $45 each.

Deputy Mayor Norm Kelly and city councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam appeared in a promotional video for the event which is touted as a “one of a kind celebration of LGBT love.”

Couples can register for the wedding online.
The 10-day World Pride event runs from June 20 to 29.
