Canadian Pacific Railway is clearing brush from the Arbutus corridor, which some neighbours fear is a bid to restart the abandoned rail line.
The 11 kilometre line was last used back in 2001 and sits on a prime piece of Vancouver real estate.

CP has sent a letter to people living in the area to let them know about the work being done.
The railway says the maintenance is required by the federal government and no decision has been made about the land’s future.
