TORONTO — Television icon Mary Tyler Moore diabetes has left her nearly blind, according to her former co-stars.
“Her eyesight is what the big problem is right now,” Betty White reportedly told Closer Weekly.
“[She] is almost beyond the point [of being able to see].”
White starred with Moore on the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Moore, 77, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was 33.

Former TV husband Dick Van Dyke — from his eponymous sitcom — reportedly told Closer that Moore “hasn’t been too well.”
He revealed: “She’s really having a battle with it, I’m sorry to say.”
Last year, Van Dyke revealed his own health issue — a neurological disorder.
