SASKATOON – Investigators believe Saskatoon’s third murder of 2014 was not a random act.
Police have identified the 55-year-old female victim after a homicide earlier this week in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood.

Family have requested her name not be released.
Police say an autopsy performed Wednesday found that the victim died of injuries consistent with violence.
Just after midnight on Tuesday, police and the emergency response team responded to the 100-block of 25th Street West for a report of gunshots.
The victim was found dead outside the Caswell Manor apartment building.
The Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
