REGINA – A Saskatchewan mother who was in the stands when the Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup on Friday says there’s no greater feeling for a parent.
Kings’ centre Jarret Stoll was born in Melville and grew up in Yorkton.

His mom, Sherri, now lives near Balcarres near Fort Qu’Appelle and says it was amazing when the puck went in during double-overtime.
Fellow Saskatchewan players who hoisted the cup this year include Dwight King from Meadow Lake and Robyn Regher, who spent part of his childhood in Rosthern.
