Oliver Karafa was found guilty last month of charges including impaired driving, criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving.

Twenty-four-year-old David Chiang died in the April 2012 crash (in the area of Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue) after Karafa’s car hit a pole.
