“As in the past, we want to be flexible in instances where tax returns are filed late because of flooding,” Finance Minister Ken Krawetz said.

Affected businesses must submit a written request for waiver of penalties and interest to the Finance Ministry.
Requests should include the business location, and outline the reason why the flooding prevented the tax returns from being submitted on time.
