CALGARY – Police have arrested two people who allegedly used a medical marijuana grow-op to help fuel a drug trafficking operation.
Officers dismantled a 107-plant medical marijuana grow-op in Silverado on July 21st.
They seized items consistent with drug trafficking, including a stolen handgun, a taser, over a dozen cell phones and packaging materials.
Police have charged 41-year-old Alan Stuart Macdonald and 30-year-old Courtney Dionne McConnell with 20 drug and weapons-related offences.
