Police say a 33-year-old male victim was walking and texting in the Yonge-Dundas Square area around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday when he “inadvertently” bumped shoulders with two other men.
Both men took exception and attacked the victim, police said.
Const. David Hopkinson said the man’s attempt at self-defence only further offended the two suspects, one of whom then allegedly stabbed him in the chest.
