TORONTO – Ninety-three-year-old Hazel McCallion was the only politician to snag a fish during the last week of the Great Ontario Salmon Derby.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a salmon.
The mayor snagged a rainbow trout from the back of a boat on Lake Ontario.
“It’s just great, fantastic,” she said. “About three or four pounds. That’s really good eating fish.”
