MEADOW LAKE, Sask. – A Saskatchewan senior who was reported missing has been located alive and well after a 16-hour search.
Alice Gobert, 89, was reported missing Saturday night in a forested area west of Rapid View, Sask.
She had become lost in the dense vegetation while picking blueberries with her family and did not have a cellphone.

Initially, RCMP conducted a search of the immediate area, but were unsuccessful.
Mounties say the temperature dropped overnight to a low of seven degrees Celsius and heavy fog was present.
RCMP continued the search along with police dog services, civilian volunteers and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA).

Around 1 p.m. Sunday, a search plane located the elderly woman walking approximately 6.4 kilometers from her last known location.
She did not have any injuries.
The Rapid View, Sask. woman was checked over by emergency medical personnel as a precaution before being released back to her family.
