CAMBRIDGE BAY, Nunavut – Prime Minister Harper took part in a groundbreaking ceremony for a research station in Nunavut as he continued his annual northern tour.

And he said he was looking forward to returning to Cambridge Bay in 2017 to take part in the scheduled opening of the Canadian High Arctic Research Station.

That, however, would require Harper and his Conservatives to win next year`s election.
The station was first announced in 2007.
Next on the P-M’s schedule is to sail through part of the Northwest Passage.
