CALGARY — A man accused in the horrific deaths of a cat and dog was ordered Tuesday to remain behind bars.
A judge denied bail for Nicolino Camardi, 19.

In January, an emaciated Siberian Husky was found dead in an alley in the 200 block of 99 Ave S.E. The dog’s muzzle was taped shut.
A week later, a dead cat with its mouth muzzled was found about 10 metres from where the Husky was found.
Camardi, who has been undergoing psychiatric testing, is due back in court Oct. 2.
