IN PHOTOS: Tears, cheers as Scotland votes ‘no’ to referendum

The results are in—and Scotland will not be going it alone.

The vote on Thursday – 55 per cent against independence to 45 per cent in favour – saw an unprecedented turnout of just under 85 per cent.

As final results of the vote were announced, both “yes” campaigners and “no” supporters were quick to react to the news.
