REGINA – RCMP in Biggar have cracked a case of alleged cattle theft dating back to 2008.
RCMP say they searched pasture land in the RM of Glenside last week after learning that branded cattle, previously reported stolen, were on the property.

They seized five cow-calf pairs worth between $13,000-$15,000.
Police suspect that in the six years the cattle were missing, they produced offspring worth more than $17,000.
49-year-old Joann Vayro of Sonningdale is facing five charges for allegedly stealing cattle and profiting from their offspring. She will appear in a Biggar courtroom on November 5th.
All of the animals were described as being in very good condition.
